It’s a topic that our team discusses numerous times per week. There are thousands of collectors across the globe who need their cards graded and then sold. Here’s the challenge: These collectors have neither the desire, the time, nor the energy to handle all of the above.
Enter the GotBaseballCards team. We’ve been doing this since 1998 and after 27 years of offering this program, we think we’ve got it down pretty well.

1. No money down - You are not required to tie up any money. We choose which cards are worth getting graded based upon their potential resale value, we can screen these cards for you (for a small fee), and then submit them to the grading company of your choice (or we can assist with that also). The grading fees are deducted after the cards come back from grading (after they sell).
2. We provide the expertise – We have been in the sports card business full-time since 1991. We have handled approximately 400,000 cards that were sent in for grading in the last 4 years alone. We know exactly which cards to look for, how to evaluate the condition of the cards, and how to market them to get the most money for you.
3. We provide the platform – We have been selling on eBay since 1998 (seller ID gotbaseballcards). We have thousands of followers who shop with us there each month and typically have nearly 150,000 items listed at a time.
4. We provide the marketing – We send out weekly emails to thousands of collectors where we feature key cards that we are currently selling on eBay. The more high-profile cards we feature, the more collectors go and visit our eBay store where your cards will be offered, whether they are $50 or $50,000. More eyes on your cards translates into not only more sales, but higher dollar sales as well.
5. We handle all the headaches – We answer all the emails about your cards, all of the eBay messages, and all of the phone calls. We handle all the shipping and insurance of your cards. We do all the work so you can just reap the benefits of getting your cards graded and sold.
6. We even buy the “leftovers” – When you drop off a collection for us to review, there are typically many quality cards that may not qualify for the grade to consign program, but still have some value. We regularly buy the “leftovers” as well if we can find a home for them in our retail store.
7. You get prompt, personalized service – We have two consignment managers (Taylor Pruitt and Cleve Bosher) who look forward to working with you on your cards. In addition, our CEO Joe Davis is also actively involved in assisting our consignors with their collections.
8. We are “different by design” – Most companies that offer consignment simply list the cards (without any additional marketing) and throw them out on ebay at $1 minimum. It’s easier, but it doesn’t protect you. You get your cut, whatever that ends up being, even if it’s significantly under market.
We NEVER start auctions at $1. We actually research market values for cards and strategically price them accordingly. We will relist cards multiple times until we “land” at the right number for you, ensuring you get the best prices for your cards.
