Our president Joe Davis has spent nearly 45 years as a collector, 30 years as a full-time dealer, and has been recognized across our hobby as an industry leader. In 2019, our company was selected as hobby shop of the year by Topps, and Joe was recently selected to represent ebay in a national advertising campaign (see below) to promote sports card collecting, and Joe has been chosen to speak at numerous industry events to pass on his knowledge to other retailers. In November of 2020, Joe worked as a consultant for ebay to represent the sports collectible category as part of a 3-day authentication event in Los Angeles.  Joe has also testified as an expert in legal proceedings involving the hobby. He co-hosts a weekly podcast, “The Collector and the Dealer”, and has appeared on many other national podcasts and channels including Sports Card Insights with Dr. James Beckett (founder of Beckett), and is regularly featured on the Sports Card Investor Channel hosted by social media influencer Geoff Wilson.  Joe was also featured in a recent Yahoo article on sports card collecting and investing. Joe is regularly asked to provide consultation to outsiders looking to invest heavily in the sports card industry, and he now has a limited number of weekly appointments available for those who would like one on one time with him on such topics:
